Sydney, Day Two

I did a lot of walking today. A lot. Sydney is a huge city but it is easily walkable. Its not out of the question to put on 20 km in a day.

James really likes the weather here. It is sunny and beautiful, if a bit windy. That's okay. There is snow on the ground in Calgary. I laugh muchly

I'm still not fond of this camera. I got it last year for City Chase and it doesn't take good pictures of James. I thought about bringing my big camera but a) it's big and b) I don't have a spare battery.

The Opera House is a lovely structure. I'm very glad I have seen it. It is also very bright white, to the extent that I would not be surprised that they hosed bird shit off it the second it landed.

I set out to find a pancake place that Google Maps said was an 8 minute walk from my accommodations. Three hours later, I found it. The pancakes were delicious.
This must be why they call the area I'm staying in "The Rocks". The area is tremendous. It is close to everything I need but doesn't feel like it is right in the middle of downtown. There was even a street market on the weekend! If I lived in Sydney, I would live in this area.

Australia is very manly.
